​A ravishing collection of mainly English and French music spanning the century from the 1830’s to the 1930’s, including the orchestral song cycle by Berlioz, delicate romantic orchestral pieces by Mendelssohn and Delius and the cantata for Chorus and Orchestra by Vaughan Williams adapted from his opera Sir John in Love.

Entrance is via the car park entrance. Doors normally open at 7.00pm and refreshments are usually available during the interval. For parking, the car park under the cathedral is available with direct access to the concert venue by lift or stairs. Limited capacity on a first come first served basis. A charge of £3.00 is payable on arrival.
